Artisans & production

Coastal partner communities produce the handwoven pandanus forms, which are transported to the Rise Beyond the Reef studio for reshaping, trimming, varnishing and leather finishing. The work creates market access for beginning and mid-skill women weavers, while the studio’s leather work supports professional job-training opportunities for youth from rural partner communities, including persons with disabilities.
